Ason, one of the old part of Kathmandu, and popular for its small alleys with local markets, has long-time been predicted to be a earthquake-prone vital place. With the two big quakes last month, many houses collapsed while many of them are tilted and about to fall. People have tried to save their houses by putting wooden planks and metal rods in walls, which seems both hopeful and hazardous.
